Fat loss drug top pharma seller, Augmentin no 2
Mounjaro has overtaken GSK’s widely prescribed antibiotic and long-established market leader, Augmentin, which totalled sales of Rs 80 crore during the month, the latest data from Pharmatrac said. The sales pattern follows Mumbai and Delhi pockets of affluence, where both high purchasing power and a proliferation of weight-loss clinics are fuelling the demand.
A similar trend would be visible in other metros, Sheetal Sapale, vice president at Pharmatrac, told TOI.
