NEXT launches first store in India in association with Myntra
Founded in 1982, NEXT runs over 460 UK stores, 265 international franchise outlets and has an online presence in 80 countries.
In addition to exclusive brand outlets, NEXT will also expand its presence through shop-in-shop formats at multi-brand retail stores such as Shoppers Stop.
In the next five to six years, NEXT aims to expand to over 50 points of sale (EBOs and shop-in-shop formats) across India.
India is a key strategic market for NEXT globally.
The rapidly expanding consumer base, with a high and fast-growing appetite for international fashion and strong retail infrastructure, makes India central to the brand’s international growth strategy.
Since its launch on the Myntra platform in 2023, NEXT has witnessed strong demand and continuous growth.
Ahead of the festive season, Myntra had been expanding the choice for consumers through new launches on the platform.
Earlier this month, it launched global fashion brand Bershka on the platform.
Besides, MJIPL the B2B also launched Souragya, a premium ethnic wear brand, in association with cricketing legend, Sourav Ganguly, just ahead of Durga Pujo festivities.
