US firm sues Hexaware for patent breach, seeks $500 million
The plaintiffs allege that Hexaware’s flagship modernization platforms — RapidX, Amaze, and Tensai/ATOP — illegally incorporate Natsoft’s patented technologies covering automated code testing, business-rule extraction, code generation, and legacy modernisation.Plaintiffs alleged that Hexaware misused confidential information and technology shared during their partnership to build its own competing platforms, the court filing reviewed by TOI showed.
Natsoft alleged that Hexaware wrongfully benefited from their technology without paying licensing fees.
Natsoft said that it invested $100 million.“Based on our assessment, the company believes that the complaint is without any merit and is unlikely to result in an adverse order and, accordingly, does not expect the same to have any material financial impact on the company,” Hexaware said in a filing on Thursday.
